Some additional changes:
Hoes only work if the node is pointed to from above.
Hoe description, inventory_image and max_uses must be specified (when registering).
Nodes with the field group must have all soil values in the node definition.
Field nodes do not loose their param2 value (e.g. rotation) when they dry, get wet or get hoed.
The node above the hoed one is not checked for protection because that node is not changed; similarly, the node under a seed is not tested for protection.
Document the fertility
test for nil player in the hoe on_use function
properly test for the creative mod
ensure that the on_place function returns an itemstack
change missing soil fields message
Junglegrass is unchanged as a source of cotton seeds for now, but
probably should be removed as a source in future, as players get
used to the new source.
All stair/slab nodes with parent nodes that are rotatable (wood and bricks)
are reverted to not having world-aligned textures, to fix the breakage of
rotated stair/slab appearence in worlds.
Update, and add missing documentation to, game_api.txt.
Currently all minetest_game PR's are failing travis since the
upstream luacheck now also warns about whitespace issues, and
there are a few of those in the code. This fixes all of them
so we can yet again rely on luacheck.

- Fertilities -> Plant only grow on soil with a fitting fertility, e.g. Wheat only grows on grassland, while cotton grows in deserts and grassland)
